I opened my gallery and started working as a framer during my last years at the college. Those days picture framing was made mostly by glassmen who used domestic material and primitive tools. It took me several years to accomplish that customers got used to the new ways of picture framing, the variety of design frames and from year to year people started to regard framing as an independent craft.

Nowadays there are 650 types of modern and antique frames made of different material in my gallery. Customers can choose among 120 paspartoue sorts. I renew and plate old blondel frames and restore old oil paintings. It is a special challenge for me to renew frames that are family relics.

In my small gallery people can admire the diversity of aquarelles, oil paintings, drawings and artistic prints.

I do emphasize the importance of the frame – it must be in accordance with the interior design of a flat.

The actual framing is just part of the process. The main goal is that the frame become an integrated piece of the interior design of the living space. The main point of my work is to give advice to my customers to choose the most appropriate frame.

Throughout the last 25 years I have helped to decorate the interior walls of thousands of homes in Hungary and abroad.
